Video games don't have a great track record with on-screen adaptations. Thanks to HBO (and the many talented people who helped make it a reality), The Last of Us TV series is one of the few exceptions to the rule. The Last of Us reached critical acclaim with its emotional roller coaster of a first season, which is now available on DVD and Blu-ray.

The Last of Us: The Complete First Season Blu-ray is down to about $25 on Amazon. If you want an even higher resolution version, you can get The Last of Us in 4K for $40. The standard Last of Us DVD is also available for $21, which is $9 less than its original price.
