Supermassive Games has revealed that Tony Pankhurst has passed away recently at the age of 67. He was the face of the Curator in The Dark Pictures Anthology.
In a post on Twitter, Supermassive Games said, "We are all saddened to hear of Tony Pankhurst's passing. He was the face of The Curator, and we loved working with him." On a tribute page, his family stated that he passed away on May 9, and shared that he was an avid Briton Hove Albion FC football fan. The family is also open to donations to "Hospice in the Weald," to which Supermassive Games itself donated £200.

In The Dark Pictures Anthology, The Curator is the omniscient narrator in each of the games, often speaking to players about and reacting to what choices they made during their playthroughs. While Pankhurst's likeness was used for The Curator, the character's voice and motion-capture credits belong to actor Pip Torrens.
