Finally, the first trailer from Amazon Prime Video's live-action adaptation of the Fallout video game franchise has arrived, showing us exactly what to expect when the series debuts early next year. Based on these two-and-a-half minutes, fans of the games are going to feel very at home. The trailer introduces viewers to Lucy (Ella Purnell), a vault-dweller born and raised inside of Vault 33, located somewhere in California. One of the next big video game adaptations for TV is Fallout, which is coming to Prime Video in 2024. GameSpot can reveal the next poster for the TV series today, which focuses on the character of The Ghoul. Walton Goggins (Sons of Anarchy, Justified) plays The Ghoul on the show, and he stands in a doorway in an irradiated wasteland in the new poster. It's a slick and stylish poster, inviting fans to wonder what mysteries await outside the doorway. Remedy Entertainment revealed that Alan Wake II's New Game Plus feature could be released this month. On Twitter, Remedy posted a photo showing Alan Wake flashing his flashlight at the side of building with the phrase "New Game +" and the studio said, "New month, new game...plus?" While Remedy didn't specify what day the feature would be added, it indicates that it'll be sometime this month. HBO's The Last of Us is coming back for a second season, and now we know when production will begin. Showrunner Craig Mazin said during a panel this week that filming begins February 12, according to Variety. [A previous version of this story said production would begin in January, which was based on a production schedule that was seemingly not correct or not up-to-date] This start-date is no surprise. After all, HBO boss Casey Bloys said Season 2 would begin filming in early 2024. As for when The Last of Us Season 2 might debut, it's not expected to arrive until 2025 at the soonest, so fans should get comfortable.
