Remedy Teases New Game Plus For Alan Wake 2 This Month

Remedy Entertainment revealed that Alan Wake II's New Game Plus feature could be released this month.

On Twitter, Remedy posted a photo showing Alan Wake flashing his flashlight at the side of building with the phrase "New Game +" and the studio said, "New month, new game...plus?" While Remedy didn't specify what day the feature would be added, it indicates that it'll be sometime this month. Perhaps it could be shadow dropped on a random day or announced at The Game Awards 2023.

Back in October, Remedy already confirmed that New Game Plus would be added to Alan Wake II post-launch. There will also be an alternate storyline. New Game Plus will allow players to keep all of their unlocked weapons and upgrades on the start of a new playthrough and add a new Nightmare difficulty option as well.Continue Reading at GameSpot

Next Like A Dragon Is A Pirate Adventure Starring Starring Majima

Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have revealed the next Like a Dragon game, and this time, everyone's favorite Yakuza loose cannon Goro Majima will be the star of it. Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii will see an amnesiac Majima reinvent himself as a pirate captain searching for a legendary treasure, an adventure that will see him cross swords with Hawaiian pirate gangs. The first trailer doesn't show much in terms of gameplay, but it does give a good look at Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii's cast, the actors voicing them, and a release date of February 28, 2025. During the RGG Summit, producer Ryosuke Horii explained that the spin-off has a "very different" battle design when compared to the recent mainline games that use a turn-based RPG game.
