Pokemon Go September 2024 Events: Raids, Spotlight Hours, Community Day, And More

Pokemon Go's new Max Out season has begun, and the mobile game is kicking things off in a big way this month. Throughout September, Pokemon Go will host a variety of events and activities featuring new Galar Pokemon, including a Falinks Raid Day and brand-new raid battles against gigantic Dynamax Pokemon.

On top of that, players have new Spotlight Hours to look forward to this month, as well as a Community Day featuring both regular Ponyta and its Galarian variant. Here are all the biggest events happening in Pokemon Go in September.Table of Contents [hide]

Pokemon Go is refreshing its raid rotation once again this month. Over the next few weeks, players will have another chance to encounter the legendary Pokemon Kyogre, Groudon, and Zacian in five-star raids, while Mega Absol, Mega Houndoom, and Mega Gardevoir will return to Mega raids throughout September.Continue Reading at GameSpot

Next Like A Dragon Is A Pirate Adventure Starring Starring Majima

Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have revealed the next Like a Dragon game, and this time, everyone's favorite Yakuza loose cannon Goro Majima will be the star of it. Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii will see an amnesiac Majima reinvent himself as a pirate captain searching for a legendary treasure, an adventure that will see him cross swords with Hawaiian pirate gangs. The first trailer doesn't show much in terms of gameplay, but it does give a good look at Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii's cast, the actors voicing them, and a release date of February 28, 2025. During the RGG Summit, producer Ryosuke Horii explained that the spin-off has a "very different" battle design when compared to the recent mainline games that use a turn-based RPG game. "It's fast-paced, and it has a lot of Majima's uniqueness, that’s what we aimed for," Horii said.
